The pictures say it better than I could. I'm planning on making some freezer jam with the strawberries that are left over after we eat a few.

Guess what! Grandma Sandi and Great Grandma M went to pick strawberries, too. But when we got there, some pickers had just brought in the last two half cases for the day. We just bought them - $4.00 more expensive but we didn't have to spend an hour stooped in the sun. Then we hurried home and made strawberry jam AND I made my famous strawberry pie for Sunday dinner.
When we eat it, I will think of my adorable granddaughters picking and eating strawberries in SD.
