Avery had fun playing and climbing on this mosaic art piece after my 5K race that morning. Don't worry, the art was actually set up for playing on, so we weren't breaking any rules.

Spring Break

It was Sandi's spring break and they came down to watch Ian and Madeleine while Spencer and Rachel went on a vacation. We had a blast watching the kids have fun at the Wild Animal Park. They got along really pretty well. We loved it!

Dress-up

Avery is very creative when she dresses up.

Bathtime

One of Avery's favorite things to do is to take a bath. She has loved them since she was a newborn. Mikaya loves them too, she's just not quite as die-hard as Avery.

California Adventure

When we bought tickets to Disneyland for our anniversary, they offered us free California Adventure tickets, but we had to use them within a month of our trip to Disneyland. So we took Avery, Mikaya, Coral, and one of her friends back to Disneyland's California Adventure. There were actually quite a few rides for the little girls. Avery's favorite ride was the carousel, on which she was crowned princess for the ride. She has hardly taken the crown off since. We all had a lot of fun, and we can't wait to take them back to Disneyland when they are a little older.

Although, it looks as though we put Avery on the fastest roller coaster in the last picture, she was really just moving along on the caterpillar ride, which was moving horizontally and very slowly. She loved it! I thought the resemblance was amazing to this old picture of Curtis, with Holly and Callie at Silverwood Amusement park.

Nothing is more fun or tiring than parenting

Wow! We love being parents with all the challenges and good times that go along with it! Don't they look as though they could never do anything wrong here. It's just not so, but we love them anyway and we think they are pretty great kids.

Zoo

It was too cold for the beach and so we took the girls to the zoo again. Avery's favorite was a parrot. She also liked the elephants. We're not sure she exactly knows the meaning of favorite yet. She had quite a few favorites. In these photos she is watching some polar bears eat potatoes and carrots and riding on a statue of another one.
