Strawberry Farm

The pictures say it better than I could. I'm planning on making some freezer jam with the strawberries that are left over after we eat a few.

Sometimes it seems Avery gets the most attention, but the other day when we took Avery and Mikaya swimming, Mikaya was definitely the center of attention. She loves the water at the pool and at the beach.

One of our friends invited Coral, Avery, Mikaya, and I to go to Legoland. Avery loved "The Princess Ride" the best (which is what she called it). We rode on it at least five times. The figures of course are all made out of legos. They also liked looking at the "Miniland" section that had recreations of New York, San Fransisco, Paris, and other cities. Avery even rode on a real roller coaster with Coral. She wanted to go again, so I took her, while Coral and her friend watched Mikaya. After the ride she said, "That was scary!" I said, "Was it scary when you went on it with Coral?" She said, "No." Anyway, I was impressed how brave she was. We had a lot fun, but I kept thinking that it would have been even more fun if Curtis could have joined us.

Avery turned three earlier this month. She seemed to enjoy every minute of her b-day. She spent some time playing with each gift right after she finished opening it. Avery is one of those people that, once you get to know, leaves a mark on your heart for good. She is strong-minded and incredible sweet. She protects her little sister and her big sister too. Happy birthday and we love you Avery!

Avery's Real B-day!

Avery was 7 lbs 5 oz and was 21 1/2 inches long when she was born.

My good friend Jessica and her family just moved here and we are so excited that they did. (Avery is too as you can see) They are awesome!

Future Librarians?

We made some glasses out of pipe cleaners the other day. I just kept thinking that they looked like little librarians.

Camping

Rachel pretty much summed up our experience camping this last Memorial Day! Let's just say it will pretty much be etched in our memories forever. Even though we had some challenges, we really had a lot of fun!
