Learning some new hair styles

We've been trying out some different hair "up-dos" lately. We tried this one before the ward Christmas party.

Fighting over Miles

Every week Avery and Mikaya make a schedule on the black board to show who will get to play with Miles first, when they get back from school. I can't believe he's a year and a half, and they are still fighting over him. I guess it's something more than just novelty at this point!

Stake Children's Choir

The stake chose some children, who they knew would listen and be disciplined enough to weather the many practices for the Stake Christmas performance, which included a children's choir this year. The children had to learn to sing in Spanish, Tagalog, and German for parts of the program. They sang amazingly, and brought a special spirit to the Stake Christmas Performance this year. They were accompanied by a beautiful orchestra, which included trumpets and drums. Avery had a great experience and felt like she accomplished a lot, but was really glad when it was all over!

Ward Christmas Dinner Program

Avery was Mary and Mikaya was an angel for the ward Christmas program this year. Avery was so sweet and held the baby Jesus so reverently. Mikaya sang really loud and smiled the whole time. It was probably one of my favorite ward Christmas dinner programs I've seen.

Ballet

Mikaya finished up soccer and started ballet again. She is having so much fun!

The beach with my Brother's Family

We all wanted to meet at the beach, but the weather wasn't cooperating. When we first got there, we hung out in the car and ate some lunch, while it rained. Curtis and Drew got their wetsuits on. We headed down to the beach and totally lucked out, because the sun came out and the girls (Avery, Lilikoi, Mikaya, and Stella) ran all over the beach having a blast together. Miles headed straight for the water, also. Curtis and Drew came back from being out surfing and we all hung out together!

Thanksgiving Break

We had an awesome Thanksgiving! We missed our family who wasn't with us, especially Coral, but we were glad she was with my parents. Drew (Curtis's brother) came in on Wednesday; Dan and Sooyoung came over for Thanksgiving day!
