Thanksgiving

What a wonderful time we had with my parents and our friends for Thanksgiving! It's wonderful to be around people who you truly love! I'm thankful for family, and friends that are like family!

School field trip to the San Diego Zoo

One of the things I love about this hybrid type of schooling, is that as we choose the field trips that look the best for us, we all get to go on the field trips together. Miles and Cade have loved being able to join in on the fun and learning, while spending some special time with Avery and Mikaya!

Great soccer season!

The girls had an amazing soccer season. Avery played center for most of the season, and was the team captain because of her attitude in the game. She motivated her teammates, supported them, and although she made many many goals, she never acted conceited! Yay Avery! Mikaya's favorite game was one where the coach and the parents had to be completely silent; to let the girls take over for themselves. She was definitely the leader and guided her team with finesse.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

We had so much fun dressing up together in Star Wars costumes! Mikaya and I made BB-8 out of two pumpkins for a school project. I've never had so much fun working on a school project!

Miles and Joy School

Avery is having fun teaching Miles preschool lessons through Joy School. She is using the same curriculum that I used when I taught her and Mikaya when they were in preschool.
