Curtis bought a pressurized water mister on clearance, to help cool off Avery and Mikaya's teams, playing in the heat. Avery's team is the Purple Panthers; a name she chose. Mikaya's is the Canary Diamonds.

A Car for Activity Days

Avery had a drive-in movie night for Activity Days, so Curtis made the car and I painted it. Avery embellished it. A beach chair fit perfectly inside to sit on. They watched Epic and ate their favorite candy bars, which for Avery was a white chocolate Kit Kat.

Visit from Grandma Montelius and G & G Sandi and Paul

Some people dread visits from in-laws, others simply wait them out. I'm actually always excited about Curtis's parents coming to visit. We always have a wonderful time! We had fun relaxing, going to the pool and beach, going to a beautiful wedding reception, to an air and space museum, and going out to dinner. We also had fun playing games and going to church. It was so nice to have extra sets of hands "on hand"; I almost felt like I was on a bit of a vacation myself. Also, Curtis was there to help out during the day while they were in town, which was another set of hands. We also loved having Grandma Montelius with us for a few days; she is amazing! Thank you for everything!
