Mikaya: Tomorrow is "Make Up Picture Day". That's not where you wear make-up to get your picture taken, it's just for kids who missed the first picture day.

Actually, this year, we didn't stay over night, because Miles was so little. We had fun hanging out at the beach, listening to Curtis play the guitar, surfing, climbing, eating pizza, and roasting marshmallows.

Mikaya & Avery's Conversation while Taking a Bath

Avery: I'll smush your imaginary friend, if you smush mine. Mikaya: My imaginary friends aren't in here right now. (tub) Avery: Well, the next time they are in here, I'm going to smush them. Mikaya: Before Jesus was born, that's what you were suppose to do ; if someone hit you, you were suppose to hit them back. Avery: Yeah, that was the law.

First Day of School and Fall Soccer

Avery's suggestion for the name of her team was the one everyone chose, so they are the Whomping Watermelons. Their color is a bright Coral color. She made a goal this last game, along with an assist to a goal. She also did well with defense.

Trip to Idaho Falls to see G & G Minton

We had so much fun visiting my parents and Avery & Mikaya had fun playing with their cousins. Avery & Mikaya having fun on the swings my dad put up.

On the way, we stayed with Grandma and Grandpa Rands. We had fun watching a lightning storm, talking, and Avery and Mikaya loved these cute twin beds they slept in.
