Avery in her rollers, getting ready to be Snow White, before we went trick-or treating with some friends. Coral is a 60's girl; the little girls and I are from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs; and Curtis went as my prince....Nacho Libre. 
My 5-K race this time was at a pumpkin patch. Avery thought the hay maze was the best. We were used to corn mazes, so this was a fun twist. They also had a big hill made out of cottonseeds that Avery and Mikaya rode down, on sleds.

More Halloween Stuff
Halloween Overload
Mikaya was a little weary of the pumpkin guts when we first pulled them out of her pumpkin, probably thinking this looks like a kind of crazy idea, but she soon got into it. Halloween is my second favorite holiday, next to Christmas, but as you can see from all of these photos throughout October it looks as though we did nothing BUT Halloween activities. We may have overdone it this year. But, we did have tons of fun!

Avery and Mikaya helped me get ready for an art lesson for my Achievement Day activity, with the 8-9 year old girls.
Coral's team has played five games so far and they are undefeated! She is very aggressive out on the field and the whole team of nice girls works well together. She usually only does one sport at a time, but decided to do gymnastics at school to prepare for the spring season also. She is very busy with homework too, but still finds time to have fun with her friends. Avery was pretending to be Coral and she said, "I'm Coral and I do homework all the time." (Avery pretends to be Belle, Cinderella, Princess Fiona, Mikaya, a dragon, or Coral pretty much all the time lately.)
Halloween Dress-up
Every year we get the Halloween costumes out, watch a movie, carve pumpkins, frost cookies; hula dance on top of boxes, that sort of thing. I love Halloween! Avery and Mikaya really got into dressing up in costumes. Fun times.
