I only took one picture of Avery AND Mikaya by the Christmas tree, so I'm glad it turned out. It's a tradition for Coral and I to make an ornament each year. This year we are making flower ball ornaments. I want to keep up the tradition with Avery and Mikaya when they are old enough. Thank you for the beautiful Christmas tree dad!

Coral's B-Day

Coral is a Mia Maid now! She sang in the stake youth choir last night at the temple, on her B-day. It was actually really cold. We came home and had cake and she opened presents. She is planning on going to an amusement park with some friends soon for her birthday "party".

Go BYU!

Zoo

Curtis took the day off and we went to the zoo. We bought a season pass, so I'm looking forward to taking the girls during the week also. We had a blast! Avery loved the monkeys and the elephants the best I think. She got so tired at the end; partly because she missed her nap.

Avery and Mikaya

Thanksgiving

We flew to Idaho for Thanksgiving and had a great time with my family. Adam, Anna, and David were there; with thirteen people in all. The cousins had fun playing together and we played lots of games. It was definitely a vacation for me, except for the fact that I think I got about 5 hours of sleep in all because of the little ones. We were able to go to Temple Square and see the beautiful nativity scenes and lights. We also were able to show our kids where Curtis proposed to me five years ago and the beautiful temple where we were married. We had a great time.

We go to the beach just about every weekend to surf, boogie board, dig holes, and build sand castles. I also love running at the beach. We've been told that we're hard core for going to the beach at this time of year. Maybe if it was "Utah" winter weather and we were still going to the beach; then maybe I would say we were hard core. I just feel lucky.
